The goal
Blik.ua is a dynamic Ukrainian news platform that delivers daily updates on politics, society, economy, show business, and global events. The challenge was to build a fast-loading, mobile-friendly, and easily navigable site capable of handling large volumes of content and high daily traffic.
My Contribution

Developing
Developed the frontend layout from scratch using clean and semantic HTML/CSS. Maintained clean code structure to support future scaling and redesigns.

Responsive design
Implemented responsive design to ensure seamless experience across all devices. Enhanced editorial workflow with flexible layout blocks.

Customization
Added modular article templates to support different content types (news, opinion, interviews).

Optimization
Optimized loading speed and performance using lazy loading and content caching techniques. Helped the site scale to support thousands of daily readers.

Testing
Worked on cross-browser testing and UI adjustments based on editorial needs. Improved mobile usability.
